Dv Geospatial is an add-on for Dv TDM that offers users a robust, location-based data management application, which provides fast, secure, and cost-saving access to your information asset base. It provides all the capabilities of an advanced Geographical Information System (GIS), while fully integrating with Dv TDM to supply an expanded set of record/document management tools. Dv Geospatial delivers an intuitive, map-based, enterprise wide Document, Drawing & Asset Management System, all in a single, highly-extensible interface.

Why is Dv Geospatial an add-on to Dv TDM that I should consider?
Studies show that 80% of all data has a spatial component to it. Dv Geospatial is an innovative web based integration framework using a geospatial centric centralized querying and data presentation interface for viewing and managing such data. It has a rich GIS interface with thematic query selection and buffering capabilities. The ArcGIS (by ESRI) application can be exposed on a separate tab. Like Dv TDM it offers integration with other applications with or without Dv TDM being used (i.e. ERP, EAM, etc).

What are some examples of using a geographical component within our enterprise system?
Studies show that 80% or more of existing data can be indexed against some location on the earth – you might index an annual production report against the physical location of an oil field, for example. Encircle a region of a map and query for specific asset attributes to find where active repair tickets exist, assets affected by new legislation or recalls. Now there are unlimited possibilities to the intuitive nature of an interactive map in conjunction with other data (documents, drawings, photos etc.). VisionStream is identical to Dv Geospatial but is intended for use within an enterprise not using Dv TDM. Like Dv Geospatial, VisionStream is compatible with the full-range of ESRI software offerings.
